Pugwash Farmers’ Market would like to thank everyone involved in the creation of the Market Hub in the heritage train station building over the last couple of years.
Throughout its various stages of development – repairs and upgrades, insulation, plumbing, installing new doors and windows and outfitting a commercial kitchen – this project has required persistence and patience. Our dream was to provide a supportive venue for innovation and public engagement, while creating an inviting space for vendors and customers.
The Market can now offer vendors/community organizations, at little or no cost, a commercial kitchen to produce products and services for the public in our village throughout the year. We are confident the improved facility will continue to attract more customers to the Market and the village, contributing to tourism in the area.
A Heartfelt THANK YOU to :
Community Facilities Improvement Program – Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage
Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia
Municipality of Cumberland County
Village of Pugwash
North Cumberland Historical Society
Cunningham Construction
…and to the Pugwash Farmers’ Market vendors for their patience, and the community of Pugwash for its on-going patronage.
