The Happy Helmstead

The Happy Helmstead is a new initiative located in Tidnish Bridge, NS. They started growing Microgreens in 2019, and began selling to the local community in Spring 2020.

Corey & Crystal Helm are a Local Amherst Farm Boy meets Toronto City Girl. With over 30 years of combined experience in Restaurant and Hospitality Management, their own magical blend of town and country has it’s own modern take on micro-farming.

Given that they are a farmer-first initiative, their main motive is to provide fresh, healthy, local goods at affordable prices.

What’s more, you also get to experience the difference that farm-direct goods can bring to your life.

They offer prepackaged microgreens as well as live trays, and can customize orders to suit your needs.

The Happy Hemstead also features its own private wood shop and offers a variety of services including chainsaw sharpening and milling.
